One Saturday a month, Kevin trades his textbooks for a paint roller. He shares how showing up for his neighbours has changed the way he sees his city — and himself.
"I've learned to patch walls, seal windows, and paint — badly. But mostly I've learned to see my own city: the ninth-floor walk-ups ten minutes from the shopping malls, the neighbours I used to ride past on the MTR. My friends ask why I give up a Saturday. Simple: six days a week, my problems are exams and grades."
